the theme of this album. Here again, I explore the tragic propensity for horrific violence, buried not so deeply in the human spirit: about the monster in us all and how tragically easy it is to find it.

cover art by my grandson, Xander. He's done several of my covers so far, and I hope he continues offering in his artwork so much inspiration for my compositions! He often sits by me drawing while I work. I asked him what he was drawing, he said "a monster". He asked what I was doing. I said, "composing a monster. D'accord!" And he spoke his first words in French.
